JARELL EDDIE SIGNS 10-DAY NBA CONTRACT WITH BOSTON CELTICS

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Windy City Bulls, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, has announced that guard/forward Jarell Eddie has signed a 10-day NBA contract with the Boston Celtics.

Eddie (6-7, 218) has 31 games of NBA experience and has spent time with the Washington Wizards (2015-16) and Phoenix Suns (2016-17). He holds averages of 2.8 points and 1.0 rebound in 6.7 minutes, while garnering shooting percentages of .310 from the field, .302 from the three-point line and .941 at the free throw line.

This season, Eddie has appeared in 10 games for Windy City, collecting averages of 17.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 32.2 minutes of action. He’s shot .490 from the floor, .500 from three and, .946 from the line, while holding the league’s highest three-point and free throw shooting percentages. Eddie is the only player shooting 45 percent or higher from the field and three-point line, while shooting over 90 percent from the free throw line.

Eddie has spent parts of four seasons in the G League, appearing in 110 games (63 starts) with the Austin Spurs and Windy City Bulls. For his career, he owns averages of 13.9 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.3 assists and has shot .463 from the field, .449 from three and .888 from the line.

In a corresponding transaction, Windy City has acquired guard Raven Lee from the available player pool.

Lee (6-3, 175) spent five seasons with Eastern Michigan (2012-17) and played two seasons with current Windy City Bull, Karrington Ward. Lee recorded his best statistical season a year ago, appearing in 29 games (21 starts) for the Eagles. He averaged 15.7 points, 1.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 26.0 minutes per game, while shooting .404 from the floor, .356 from distance and .857 at the line. He scored over 1,800 points in his career (1,873) and had a 50-point game at Central Michigan last February.

Lee was initially acquired by the Santa Cruz Warriors after going undrafted in the 2017 NBA Draft. He saw action in six games and averaged 2.4 points and shot 30 percent from the floor.
