Windy City Bulls Announce Special Events & Promotions for 2017-18 Season

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO Harris Bank, the official NBA G League Affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, have announced their promotional themes and giveaways that will highlight the team’s 2017-18 regular season.

The Bulls will tip-off its second season at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates on Saturday, November 4 with the first of 15 weekend home dates. On this special date, the first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a Windy City Trapper Hat, presented by BMO Harris Bank.

The fun continues Saturday, November 11 when the team celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Chicago Bulls 1992-1993 Championship, the first of three Dynasty Nights this season. On this date, fans in attendance will have the opportunity to view rare memorabilia from the Chicago Bulls second championship season and meet Bulls legend Horace Grant who will be appearing at the game.

The second Dynasty Night, presented by Great Clips, celebrating the 20th Anniversary of 1997-1998 Chicago Bulls Championship, will be held on February 9, featuring an appearance by Bulls legend Ron Harper. The final Dynasty Night, presented by Johnsonville, is scheduled for March 16 and will include an appearance by Bulls legend Toni Kukoc and the only opportunity during the season for fans to take photos with all six of the Chicago Bulls NBA Championship trophies.

Building on the success of the team’s inaugural Education Day game last year, Windy City will be hosting a pair of special 10 AM Wednesday games on December 6 and February 21, presented by BMO Harris Bank. Both games will include a pre-game career panel and in-game educational programming and activities.

On December 8, Legoland Discovery Center has partnered with the team to host Lego Night, featuring interactive exhibits and activities for fans to enjoy. That game will be followed on December 16 when Windy City hosts Star Wars Night, featuring special appearances by many characters from the popular movies.

Families looking for a great evening of faith-based fun will enjoy the team’s Faith Night on Friday, January 19, highlighted by a half-time performance by former American Idol contestant and GMA Award-winning Christian rock musician, Colton Dixon.

On March 11, fans will have the opportunity to bring their furry friends to the team’s Dog Day when the team plays its only Sunday afternoon game of the season. Later that month, the organization will honor our local military during Military Appreciation Night on March 17, featuring an appearance by legendary professional wrestling superstar Sgt. Slaughter. The game will also include equipment and interactive vehicle displays from our Armed Forces, as well as special pre-game and in-game ceremonies.

The Windy City Bulls are preparing for their second season in the heart of Chicago’s northwest suburbs as members of the newly re-branded NBA G League, which enters its 17th season with 26 teams who will compete in a 50-game schedule.
