HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO Harris Bank, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, snapped their two-game losing streak with a 122-104 victory over the Wisconsin Herd on Saturday night at Sears Centre Arena.

Antonio Blakeney posted his third double-double and fourth 40-point game of the season with a game-high 41 points and 11 rebounds. Cristiano Felicio scored 20 points on 10-of-14 shooting, while Jaylen Johnson notched his first career triple-double tallying 13 points, 10 rebounds, and career-high 12 assists. Ryan Arcidiacono posted his fourth double-double and fifth double-digit assist game with 14 points and 10 assists.

The offense clicked early as Windy City scored 16 points in the opening six minutes. Six different Bulls cracked the scoring column, highlighted by Blakeney who scored 15 of his 41 points in the opening quarter. The Bulls grabbed a double-digit lead with under four minutes to play and led by 11 on multiple occasions in the period. Windy City knocked down 52 percent of their shots and feasted on the inside with 12 points in the paint. Wisconsin scored the final bucket of the quarter, but the Bulls walked away with a 10-point lead at the end of the first.

Five players scored in double figures for the Herd led by JeQuan Lewis who poured in a team-high 25 points and added seven assists. Joel Bolomboy scored 17 points and grabbed a game-high 14 rebounds, while Chris McCullough registered a double-double of his own with a 15-point, 11 rebound performance. Cliff Alexander and Jarvis Summers pitched in with 12 points apiece.

Arcidiacono gave the Bulls some breathing room as he knocked down back-to-back triples to give Windy City a 14-point lead just minutes into the second quarter. Wisconsin couldn’t trim the lead beyond nine as the two teams traded buckets for most of the period. Felicio did the heavy lifting to keep the Bulls out front as he led all scorers with 10 points in the quarter. Windy City shot over 50 percent in the half and took a 61-49 lead into halftime.

The Bulls created separation in the third quarter, rattling off eight points in two minutes to take a 69-49 lead. Windy City kept the Herd at bay until Wisconsin made a run halfway through the quarter. Trailing 81-66 with under five minutes to play in the period, Wisconsin went on a 13-0 run to cut a 15-point deficit to a one-possession game. During that span, Windy City went scoreless for nearly five and half minutes going 0-for-7 from the floor, while committing three turnovers. Blakeney ended the scoring drought as he nailed two free throws to give the Bulls an 83-79 lead heading to the final 12 minutes.

Mychal Mulder came to life in the fourth quarter scoring all 15 of his points in the final stanza, including back-to-back threes to start the period. His surge gave the Bulls a 10-point lead, which the Herd never recovered from. Wisconsin got to within seven points, but the Bulls answered and eventually took a 21-point lead, their largest of the night. Windy City knocked down 15 of their 20 shots in the final quarter to seal their ninth victory of the season.

Windy City evens up the season series at one apiece after losing to the Herd in Milwaukee on Nov. 17. The Bulls have a couple days off before heading to Canada for the NBA G League Showcase, which begins on Wednesday. Windy City has back-to-back games in Mississauga against the Austin Spurs and Sioux Falls Skyforce.
