PJ DOZIER NAMED TO MIDSEASON ALL-NBA G LEAGUE TEAM

The NBA G League announced today that Windy City Bulls Point Guard P.J. Dozier has been named to the 2019-20 Eastern Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team.

Dozier, who is under contract with Denver, has been assigned to Windy City this season by the Nuggets who do not have a direct affiliation with any team in the G League. He has appeared in 18 games for Windy City, starting 16, and ranking among the top ten players in the league in minutes per game (36.9), points per game (21.4) and assists per game (7.3)

The South Carolina alum, who is on an NBA Two-Way contract, posted season highs of 34 points on November 29 vs. the Maine Red Claws, 14 rebounds on December 29 at the Capital City Go-Go, and 12 assists twice on November 8 at the Wisconsin Herd and December 29 at the Capital City Go-Go.

Dozier has also appeared in 13 NBA games for the Nuggets this season where he has averaged 5.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. He notched a season-high 15 points on January 22 against the Houston Rockets.

The NBA G League recognizes its players’ performances through the first half of the season by naming an Eastern Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team and a Western Conference Midseason All-NBA G League Team. NBA G League coaches and general managers vote on the top performers from the first half of the season from their respective conferences, based on the performance of players in games through January 28.

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO Harris Bank, are the official NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls and plays its 24-game home schedule at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL. The team is currently in its fourth season in the 28-team NBA G League.
