WINDY CITY BULLS ANNOUNCE FULL 2019-2020 PROMOTIONAL SCHEDULE

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL - The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO Harris Bank, the official NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, today announced its 2019-2020 promotional schedule for the team’s fourth season at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates.

The season will tip-off on Saturday, November 9 with a Hispanic Heritage Night. The Dia de los Muertos celebration will feature a Sugar Skull Bobblehead Giveaway, presented by BMO Harris Bank. The special event will also include a memorial altar, art activities, face painting, a mariachi band, and the opportunity for fans to help construct a Sugar Skull mosaic, presented by LEGOLAND Discovery Center Chicago. Windy City players will wear special “Los Toros” theme jerseys that will be auctioned off to benefit the Elgin School District 46 Foundation.

Hispanic Heritage Night will be the first of five Saturday Night Premium Giveaway games on the Windy City schedule. A ticket to all five nights can be purchased for just $100 through the Windy City Bulls 5-Game Plan.

On December 14, Windy City will host Holiday Haircuts, presented by Great Clips, with stylists from Great Clips on- hand to give free haircuts to fans, with all tip proceeds donated to charity. The night will also feature an Ugly Winter Pom Hat Giveaway, holiday games and music, Meet-and-Greets with Santa and Mrs. Claus, a Coat & Blanket Drive to benefit WINGS Program, Inc., and Star Wars characters to promote the new sequel opening on December 20.

The Chuck Jones Big Draw featuring Looney Tunes, presented by Zenni, will take place on January 4. This special event will benefit the backyard experience, which serves after-school arts education programs, healing arts in healthcare programs, visual articulation for special needs, and creative events in our communities. Highlights of this special evening include a Gus T. Bull & Marvin the Martian Bobblehead Giveaway, Looney Tunes theme art stations throughout the concourse, as well as Looney Tunes music & cartoons. Looney Tunes-themed jerseys will be worn by both the Windy City and Westchester teams and will be auctioned off to benefit both the backyard experience and a New York-based art education organization.

Windy City’s second annual Deaf Awareness Night will take place on January 25 when players will wear American Sign Language theme jerseys that will be auctioned to benefit the Illinois Association for the Deaf. Other highlights of the game will be an ASL-themed Gus T. Bull Bobblearm Giveaway, video board closed-captioning, and ASL interpreters at designated points in the arena. Faith & Family Night featuring a pre-game service project with Phil’s Friends, Scout Night featuring a pre-game Suite Level party with a Windy City Bulls guest speaker, and Gus T. Bull’s Birthday Party featuring a Nutphree’s Bakery cake tasting, will also be a part of this jam-packed event.

The final Premium Giveaway of the season will be Community Heroes Night on February 8 when the team honors the military and first responders who make our communities proud. A 1988 Throwback Youth Jersey Giveaway will be handed out to kids in attendance, and in-game features include military, fire, and police vehicle displays and other activations highlighting these heroes in our community.

The first of our three Education Days, presented by BMO Harris Bank, will take place on December 11, followed by the second Education Day scheduled for February 20, that will feature a No. 2 Pencil-themed jersey that Windy City players will wear. The jerseys will be auctioned to benefit the School District 46 Foundation. The third Education Day of the season will take place on March 4, with all three day games tipping off at 11 AM.

Other special events on the team’s promotional schedule include:

  • Princess Night on January 11, featuring a Post-Game on-court Princess Ball and Princess Character Meet-and-Greets.
  • Chicago Bulls Takeover Night, presented by BMO Harris Bank, with Benny The Bull & the Luvabulls, takes place on February 7.
  • It’s 5 O’clock Somewhere Night lands on National Margarita Day, February 22, and features a Jimmy Buffet cover band and in-game tropical highlights.
  • PetSmart presents Dog Night on February 23, featuring a Doggie Fashion Show and Doggie Races. Pooch Passes for all dogs in attendance are just $5, with proceeds benefiting a local animal charity.
  • AT&T presents Believe Chicago & Wizards & Witches Night on Friday, March 6.
  • E-Sports Night, presented by Power 106.3FM, featuring a pre-game gaming tournament & Celebrity Gamer Meet-and-Greet on Friday, March 20.

Families can take advantage of affordable Weekend Family Packs for all Friday, Saturday and Sunday home games this season. These affordable packages include four 100 Level tickets, four hot dogs, four bags of chips, and four sodas or waters for just $64.

Single game tickets will go on sale Monday, October 14 to the public online only at WindyCityBulls.com. During the season, all premium promotional giveaways will be distributed to fans entering Sears Centre Arena on the event dates, while supplies last.

The Windy City Bulls enter its fourth season as a member of the 28-team NBA G League and the franchise will open its 50-game regular season schedule on the road on Friday, November 8 at the Wisconsin Herd.
