Windy City Bulls Beat Texas Legends, Taylor notches 29-point Double-Double

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Texas Legends 122-110 Wednesday night. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Terry Taylor with 29 points and 14 rebounds.

Chicago Bulls Assignment guard Carlik Jones had 24 points and five assists. Guard Ethan Thompson finished with 20 points, while center Daniel Oturu chipped in 16 points and grabbed 12 rebounds off the bench. 

The Bulls jumped out to a quick 33-24 lead after Thompson scored 14 points in the first quarter. Windy City remained in control of the game the rest of the way, leading by as many as 18 points in the second quarter. 

Texas cut the lead to eight with five minutes left in the game, however, Windy City was able to hold off the Legends for a 12-point victory. 

The Bulls dominated under the basket, outscoring the Legends 68-38 in the paint. Windy City outrebounded Texas 56-36.

Texas was led by guard Tyler Hall with 23 points on 7-for-15 shooting. Legends forward Justin Jackson chipped in 18 points. 

With the win, Windy City improved to 13-12 in the regular season, while Texas fell to 6-17. 

Next up, Windy City has a rematch with the Legends Thursday, March 9. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on NBAGLeague.com.
