Windy City Bulls Announce 2023-2024 Schedule

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, announced the team’s 2023-24 schedule today, highlighted by 18 of the team’s 24 home games falling on weekend dates at NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates.

The schedule begins with a three-game road trip on Nov. 10 and Nov.11 against the Iowa Wolves in Des Moines, Iowa, and Nov. 13 in Indianapolis, Indiana against the Mad Ants before the team returns for its home opener on Saturday, Nov. 18 against the Cleveland Charge

The team’s home slate is highlighted by a March 1 contest against G League Ignite, featuring Matas Buzelis, a Chicagoland native and a top 2024 NBA Draft prospect. This will be the first-ever matchup between Windy City and Ignite.

The Bulls will have two, four-game home stretches during the season. The first being during the Showcase Cup, spanning from Dec. 9 to Dec. 17. The Bulls host Wisconsin (Dec. 9), Motor City (Dec. 10), Sioux Falls (Dec. 15) and Motor City again (Dec.17).

The second four-game homestand will take place from January 13-20 when Windy City hosts Delaware twice (Jan. 13 & 15), and the Long Island Nets on a back-to-back (Jan. 19 & 20).

Windy City will have three, four-game road trips this season. The first spanning from Nov. 28 through Dec. 5, when the Bulls travel to Indiana (Nov. 28), Grand Rapids (Dec. 2 & 3), and finish up in Wisconsin (Dec. 5). The second four-game road trip will start in Maine (Jan. 24) before the Bulls travel to Birmingham for a pair of games (Jan. 28 & 30), and finish in Greensboro (Feb. 2).

The Bulls’ last four-game road trip will begin in Cleveland (March 3), before traveling to Texas to play the Rio Grande Vipers (March 6 & 8) in Edinburg, TX for the first time in franchise history before wrapping up the road schedule with a game against the Austin Spurs (March 10).

Windy City has 12 games scheduled against Western Conference opponents this season, including the aforementioned trips to Iowa and Texas and home game against Ignite. The Bulls are hosting the Sioux Falls Skyforce on Nov. 22 and Dec. 15, the Stockton Kings Jan. 5 and 6, and fly South to play the Birmingham Squadron on Jan. 28 and 30.

The team will host two 11 a.m. home games this season, the first on MLK Day, Monday, January 15, and on Thursday, Feb. 8, when the team stages its annual Education Day, presented by BMO.

For the third consecutive season, the schedule will be split into two parts – a 16-game Showcase Cup and a traditional 34-game regular season. The Showcase Cup will tip-off on Friday, Nov. 10, and will culminate at the 2023 AT&T NBA G League Winter Showcase with the Showcase Cup Championship Game on Friday, Dec. 22. Following the Showcase Cup, team records will reset in advance of the 32-game regular season, which tips off on Dec. 27.
