BULLS ACQUIRE ALEC BROWN FROM NORTHERN ARIZONA SUNS

HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO Harris Bank, the official NBA Development League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, have agreed in principal to send the returning player rights of Jamal Jones and their second round pick in the 2017 NBA Development League Draft to the Northern Arizona Suns in exchange for Alec Brown. The acquisition is pending the completion of medical physicals.

Brown (Green Bay ’14) was a two-time First Team All-Horizon League Selection in 2012 and 2014 for the Phoenix and was named the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year in 2014. A 7’1” forward/center, Brown was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the second round of the 2014 NBA Draft. He played 20 games in the NBA D-league for the Bakersfield Jam in 2014-15 averaging 7 PPG and 3.5 RPG.

The Windy City Bulls holds the 12th pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Development League Draft, which takes place tomorrow, Sunday, October 30 at 1 PM CT. The team’s Training Camp is set to begin on October 31.
