Meet the Team Thursday: Andre Dawkins

Andre Dawkins was acquired by the Windy City Bulls from the Texas Legends on Dec, 1. He has emerged as an offensive threat, averaging 10.6 points per game. Dawkins has connected on four or more made three-pointers in a game four times for the Bulls since his acquisition.  

We recently caught up with Andre to learn these fun facts about the Windy City Bulls guard:

Where is the coolest place you have ever been?

“Dubai.”

What is a go-to icebreaker fact?

“That I was in the Math Olympics in third grade.”

What was your favorite sports team to follow growing up?

“Duke Basketball.”

What is your favorite TV show?

“West World.”

What is your favorite movie?

“Man on Fire.”

What is your favorite memory during your basketball career?

“Going to the NCAA Championship in 2010.”

What do you want to be remembered for?

“I want to be remembered as a good person who treated people respectfully. I also want to be remembered for being a good player, good teammate and my main focus is to be a winner.”

What is your favorite holiday?

“Christmas.”

Do you have any secret talents or skills?

“I am a good cook, golfer, and poker player.”

What do you think your biggest challenge this year is going to be?

“Staying warm in Chicago.”
