Windy City Bulls win in Overtime at Home, Sanogo Scores 32

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Delaware Blue Coats 115-113 Monday morning. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls Two-way forward Adama Sanogo with 32 points and 17 rebounds. 

Delaware took a 26-25 lead at the end of the first quarter after Blue Coats guard Jared Brownridge scored 11 points. Windy City shot 65.2 percent from the field in the second quarter to take a five-point lead heading into halftime. Sanogo led the team with 18 points in the first half.

Chicago Bulls Two-way forward Henri Drell scored eight points in the third quarter, however, the Blue Coats took a 88-82 lead heading into the final 12 minutes. Drell made a layup with 1:03 left on the clock to tie the game and force overtime. Windy City hit the target score of seven points first in overtime with a made free throw from Sanogo.

Delaware was led by Philadelphia 76ers Two-way guard Terquavion Smith with 29 points on 10-for-21 shooting from the field. Philadelphia 76ers Two-way guard Ricky Council finished with 22 points. 

With the win, Windy City improved to 2-6 in the regular season, while Delaware fell to 5-3. 

Next up, Windy City will face the Long Island Nets on Friday, January 19 at NOW Arena. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted live on NBAGLeague.com.
