Windy City Narrowly Falls to Charge

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, came up just short against the Cleveland Charge, losing 109-107 Monday night at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio. Windy City was led by guard Carlik Jones with 22 points.
The Bulls rattled off a 9-0 run in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter to help get within a single point of the Charge. But Windy City wasn’t able to complete the comeback, falling to the Charge by two.
The two squads went back-and-forth all game as there were nine lead changes and 12 ties. Windy City held a narrow 54-53 advantage at halftime with the help of 13 first-half points from Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Malcolm Hill.
Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Kostas Antetokounmpo went 8-for-8 from the field, scoring 21 points, grabbing nine rebounds and tallying four blocks. Hill finished with 20 points.
Cleveland was led by forward Jamorko Pickett and guard Sharife Cooper with 28 points each.
With the loss, Windy City falls to 6-4 on the season, while Cleveland improves to 9-4.
Next, the Bulls return home to NOW Arena for back-to-back games against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10. Both games will tip-off at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on NBC Sports Chicago.
