Windy City Bulls Fall to Long Island Nets at Home

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Long Island Nets 121–115 Friday night. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls Two-way forward Henri Drell with 22 points and 12 rebounds.
Windy City guard Chris Clemons chipped in 18 points off the bench. Chicago Bulls Two-way forward Adama Sanogo finished with a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds.
Sanogo scored 11 points in the first six minutes of the game to help the Bulls to an early 19-9 lead. Long Island battled back to tie the game 31-31 at the end of the first quarter. Windy City trailed by three points at halftime despite shooting 55.8 percent from the field in the first half.
Drell scored 11 of his 22 points for Windy City in the third quarter, however, Long Island took a 98-93 lead heading into the final 12 minutes. It was a back-and-forth battle in the fourth quarter but Long Island came out on top.
Long Island was led by Brooklyn Nets Two-way forward Jalen Wilson with 28 points, six rebounds and five assists. Brooklyn Nets Two-way guard Keon Johnson chipped in 27 points on 10-for-13 shooting from the field.
With the loss, Windy City fell to 2-7 in the regular season, while Long Island improved to 6-4.
Next up, Windy City will face the Long Island Nets again tomorrow, January 20 at NOW Arena. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted live on NBAGLeague.com.
