Windy City Bulls fall at home to Osceola Magic

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Osceola Magic 129-113 Thursday afternoon in front of a sold-out crowd of 5,609 fans, representing the largest single game attendance in Windy City’s franchise history. Windy City was led by guard Quenton Jackson with 26 points, five rebounds and 12 assists.
Forward Marvin Smith chipped in 21 points and grabbed six rebounds. Guard Jacob Young scored 19 points off the bench in his first game with the Bulls.
Jackson led Windy City with 10 points in the first quarter, however, the Bulls trailed by seven points. Osceola led 73-64 at halftime despite Windy City shooting 80 percent from the three in the second quarter.
The Magic outscored the Bulls 29-25 in the third quarter, giving Osceola a 102-89 lead heading into the final 12 minutes. Smith scored eight points in the fourth quarter, shooting 50 percent from the field for Windy City.
Osceola was led by forward DJ Wilson with 30 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Orlando Magic Two-way forward Trevelin Queen finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
With the loss, Windy City fell to 5-10 in the regular season, while Osceola improved to 9-7.
Next up, Windy City has a rematch with Osceola tomorrow, February 9 at NOW Arena. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:00PM and will be broadcasted on NBAGLeague.com
