Windy City Bulls Acquire Maurice Calloo

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, announced Thursday afternoon the team has acquired Maurice Calloo from the available player pool. The 22-year-old most recently played for the Salt Lake City Stars in the NBA G League.
After going undrafted in the 2022 NBA draft, Calloo tried out for Salt Lake in October 2022. The Stars claimed Calloo from the available players pool on December 26, 2022. He played in four games, averaging 2.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and .8 assists per game.
Prior to the G League, the 6-foot-10 forward attended Oregon State for his final two years of college (2020-22). Calloo averaged 5.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 0.6 assists per game during his junior season. He averaged 8.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 0.6 assists per game during his senior season. During his senior season, Calloo scored a career-high 20 points against Washington State.
Calloo started his collegiate career at Oklahoma State before transferring to Indian Hills Community College for his sophomore year.
While at Oregon State, Calloo played with Windy City guard Ethan Thompson during the 2020-21 season. The duo helped lead the Beavers to an Elite Eight appearance in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
Calloo will wear No. 7 with Windy City.
