Windy City Bulls Announce 2026-27 Tenth Anniversary Season Schedule

Opening Night set for Friday, November 6 in Hoffman Estates

Hoffman Estates, Ill. – The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, announced its 2026-27 season schedule today. The campaign marks the franchise’s tenth in Hoffman Estates, and the decennial commemorates a decade of growth on the court and in the community.

The NBA G League season will again be divided into two parts beginning with the 14-game Tip-Off Tournament. Windy City will compete in the Central pod during the Tip-Off Tournament portion of the season and the team with the best winning percentage in each of the four pods, along with the next four teams with the best winning percentages regardless of region, will advance to compete in the Winter Showcase Championship. Team records will then reset when the 36-game regular season commences at December’s Winter Showcase in Orlando, where all 31 teams in the League will convene.

Windy City will host 24 homes games at NOW Arena this season with a franchise-record 18 matchups falling on weekend or holiday dates. 

Windy City will open the season against the Noblesville Boom on Friday, Nov. 6 followed by the team’s Tenth Anniversary Celebration game on Saturday, Nov. 7. The following weekend sees another back-to-back slate with the Bulls taking on the Grand Rapids Gold on Saturday, Nov. 14 and the Wisconsin Herd on Sunday, Nov. 15.

Early in December, Windy City hosts the Iowa Wolves on Friday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Dec. 6 before the team heads out for a pair of road games against the Cleveland Charge to close out the Tip-Off Tournament portion of the season. 

The NBA G League regular season begins at the 2026 NBA G League Winter Showcase in Orlando held from December 19-22, where Windy City will play at least two games to be announced at a later date. Following Showcase, Windy City will finish the calendar year with a pair of games in Greensboro against the Swarm on Dec. 28 & 30.  

Windy City returns home in the new year for five straight contests beginning with back-to-back games against the Osceola Magic on Jan. 8 & 9 followed by matchups against the Raptors 905 on Jan. 14 & 16. The homestand concludes when Noblesville visits town for a 1 p.m. game on Monday, Jan. 18 when the team celebrates Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

In early February the Bulls travel south to face off against the Osceola Magic on the road on Feb. 1 & 3, then head north to tip off against the Maine Celtics in Portland on Feb. 10.  

The team then returns for a four-game home stretch in the middle of the month when Windy City hosts Cleveland on Friday, Feb. 12 and Saturday, Feb. 13. The following week, the Bulls will host the Motor City Cruise for a pair of day games on President’s Day, Feb. 15 at 1 p.m. and the team’s annual 11 a.m. Education Day, presented by BMO, on Feb. 17.

February concludes with the All-Star Break and a five-game road trip that stretches into early March and sees stops against the Westchester Knicks, College Park Skyhawks, the newly located Laketown Squadron (La.) and the Maine Celtics.

In late March, Windy City closes out the regular season with a six-game homestand beginning with back-to-back contests against the Delaware Blue Coats, including the team’s second 11 a.m. Education Day, presented by BMO, on Thursday, Mar. 18.

A set of weekday games against the Long Island Nets are slated for Mar. 22 & 24 before Windy City’s season finale weekend on Friday, Mar. 26 and Saturday, Mar. 27 as the team takes on the Greensboro Swarm to conclude the season.
