Windy City Bulls fall short against Motor City Cruise

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Motor City Cruise 115-113 Sunday night. Windy City was led by guard Chris Clemons with 37 points, three rebounds and two assists. 

Guard Max Heidegger and guard Quenton Jackson both chipped in 17 points. Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Adama Sanogo finished with 13 points and 13 rebounds. 

After being down 22 points at the end of the first quarter, the Bulls battled back to bring it within four at halftime. Clemons led Windy City at the half with 12 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. 

The Cruise led 92-88 after both teams scored 31 points in the third quarter. Guard Quenton Jackson hit two free throws, bringing Windy City within one point with eight seconds left, however, Motor City held on for a two-point win. 

Motor City was led by Detroit Pistons Two-Way guard Stanley Umude with 30 points and six rebounds. Detroit Pistons Two-Way guard Malcolm Cazalon finished with 21 points, six rebounds and three assists. 

With the loss, Windy City fell to 7-5 in the regular season, while Motor City improved to 8-3. 

Next up, Windy City will host the Sioux Falls Skyforce at home on Friday, December 15. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:30 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted live on Tubi and NBC Sports Chicago.
