Windy City Bulls fall short against Motor City Cruise

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Motor City Cruise 114-112 Thursday night at Wayne State Fieldhouse. Windy City was led by guard Jalen Harris with 36 points, and eight rebounds.
Guard Quenton Jackson finished with 19 points and guard Keifer Sykes chipped in 14 points.
The Cruise took a one-point lead over Windy City at the end of the first quarter. Harris scored 19 points in the first half to help the Bulls to a 74-53 lead at the half.
Motor City responded in the third quarter by cutting the lead to seven heading into the final 12 minutes. The Bulls tied the game with 22.9 seconds left, however, guard Zavier Simpson knocked down a jump shot to win the game for the Cruise.
Motor City was led by Detroit Pistons Two-Way guard Jared Rhoden with 20 points, five rebounds and two assists. Simpson chipped in 19 points, one rebound and seven assists.
With the loss, Windy City fell to 0-2 in the regular season, while Motor City improved to 2-0. Next up, Windy City will take on the Greensboro Swarm at Novant Health Fieldhouse on Saturday, Dec. 30. The game is slated to tip-off at 12:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcasted live on NBAGLeague.com.
