HOFFMAN ESTATES, IL – The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO Harris Bank, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, extended their season-high winning streak to four in a 117-99 win over the Wisconsin Herd on Saturday night at Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Antonio Blakeney recorded his second consecutive 30-point game as he led all scorers with 31 points. Brandon Wood poured in 20 points off the bench, while Cristiano Felicio stuffed the stat sheet with 19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals and a blocked shot. Jaylen Johnson recorded his 11th double-double of the season posting 15 points along with 11 rebounds and Paul Zipser pitched in with 11 points and eight rebounds.

Wisconsin raced out to an 8-3 lead, but offense was scarce as both teams combined to make just five of the opening 18 shots from the floor. Windy City took control in the latter half of the quarter and used a 16-0 run to take a 19-8 lead against the Herd. Felicio scored eight points and grabbed six rebounds in the opening quarter to jump-start the Bulls offense. The Herd managed to cut the lead to single digits with under a minute to play, but Karrington Ward scored the final basket of the period as he hammered home a dunk to retake a double-digit lead. The Bulls held Wisconsin to under 30 percent shooting and led 25-14 at the end of the first stanza.

Joel Bolomboy led the charge for the second consecutive night, tallying 25 points and 14 rebounds for his second double-double in his many days. JeQuan Lewis recorded a double-double of his own with 16 points and 10 assists, while Kyle Casey and Cliff Alexander scored 15 points apiece. Jarvis Summers and Cameron Oliver each had 11 points, but combined to shoot 7-for-17 from the field.

Windy City used a 10-5 run to extend the lead to 16 as they took control in the second quarter. The Bulls led by 16 on a couple occasions, which was their largest lead of the first half. Antonio Blakeney came alive in the period, leading all scorers with nine points on 3-of-4 shooting in the period. Wisconsin wouldn’t go away quietly and used a 12-6 run to close the quarter strong. The Herd outscored the Bulls by one, but trailed 50-40 at intermission.

The Bulls picked up where they left off and used a quick 9-2 spurt to take a 17-point lead. The lead swelled from 17 to 20 and eventually reached 23 with a Felicio layup. Windy City scored 31 points and shot 57 percent in the quarter, knocking down 11 of their 19 shots. Wisconsin used another late quarter run, rattling off 10 points in the final three minutes of the period. The Herd managed to trim the lead to as little as 14 and trailed 81-67 heading into the fourth quarter.

The final period was status quo as the Herd couldn’t build on the momentum to draw closer. Both teams shot well in the final 12 minutes, including a 68 percent clip by Wisconsin. Joel Bolomboy led the charge scoring 15 of his points in the fourth quarter, but Brandon Wood and Antonio Blakeney warmed to the task and combined for 21 points in the quarter. The game was never in doubt in the fourth quarter, and Windy City cruised to a victory, sweeping the home-and-home series.

Windy City finished the season series winning three of the four meetings with the Herd. The Bulls return home on Wednesday looking to grab their first win against the first place Fort Wayne Mad Ants. Tip-off is 7:00 p.m. at Sears Centre Arena.
