Windy City Bulls Steal a Win on the road against Rio Grande Valley Vipers

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Rio Grande Valley Vipers 111-108 Wednesday night. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo with 26 points and nine rebounds.
Chicago Bulls two-way forward Henri Drell finished with a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds. Chicago Bulls two-way forward Andrew Funk shot 50 percent from the field, chipping in 17 points.
Guard Jacob Young hit a half court shot to end the first quarter, helping Windy City to a 29-22 lead. The Bulls scored 32 points in the second quarter, extending the lead to 10 at halftime.
The Vipers outscored the Bulls 28-21, cutting Windy City’s lead to three points at the end of the third quarter. The last five minutes of the game was a back and forth battle after Rio Grande tied the game at 95. Guard Ryan Arcidiacono made a layup with 19.1 seconds left to put the Bulls up one. Sanogo hit two free throws to seal the win for Windy City.
Rio Grande was led by guard Jalen Lecque with 18 points and six rebounds. Houston Rockets two-way forward Jermaine Samuels Jr finished with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
With the win, Windy City improved to 11-13 in the regular season, Rio Grande fell to 13-9.
Next up, Windy City has a rematch with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Friday, March 8. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:30PM and will be broadcasted on NBAGLeague.com.
