Windy City Bulls Dominate in 21-Point Win over Maine Celtics

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Maine Celtics 114-93 Sunday afternoon at NOW Arena. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls Assignment forward Dalen Terry with 25 points, eight rebounds and five steals.
Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Terry Taylor finished with a double-double of 23 points and 17 rebounds. Chicago Bulls Assignment guard Carlik Jones chipped in 16 points and six assists. Chicago Bulls Assignment center Marko Simonović had a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Windy City started off the game shooting 52.2% from the field in the first quarter, resulting in a 31-23 lead after the first 12 minutes. The Bulls defense, led by Terry with five steals, held the Celtics to 40 points in the first half. Windy City took a commanding 19-point lead at the end of the second quarter.
The Bulls continued to dominate, with an 18-point lead at the end of the third quarter. An 8-0 run with just under six minutes left in the game put Windy City up 24 to give the Bulls their biggest lead of the night. Windy City scored 56 points in the paint during their 21-point win.
Maine was led by Denzel Valentine with 20 points and seven rebounds on 7-for-12 shooting from the field.
With the win, Windy City improved to 17-13 in the regular season, while Maine fell to 17-13.
Next up, Windy City has a rematch with Maine on Tuesday, March 21 at NOW Arena. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT and will air live on NBC Sports Chicago.
