Windy City Bulls Run Out of Gas Against Maine

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Maine Celtics 93-89 Tuesday night at NOW Arena. Windy City was led by Chicago Bulls Two-Way forward Terry Taylor’s 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Chicago Bulls Assignments Carlik Jones and Marko Simonovic chipped in 18 and 17 points, respectively. Windy City guard Jeremy Pargo came off the bench to score 15 points and dish out five assists.
The Bulls and Celtics went back-and-forth for much of the game. After trailing by two after the first 12 minutes, Windy City caught fire in the second quarter to head into halftime with an 11-point advantage. But the Bulls struggled offensively in the second half, falling to the Celtics by four.
Boston Celtics Two-Way center Mfiondu Kabengele notched a double-double with 25 points and 17 rebounds. Maine guard Marvin Smith came off the pine to chip in 24 points on 9-for-14 shooting.
With the loss, Windy City fell to 17-14 in the regular season, while Maine improved to 18-13.
Windy City’s regular season finale is on Thursday, March 23 against the College Park Skyhawks. The game is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. CT and will air live on NBC Sports Chicago.
