Windy City Bulls Win Overtime Thriller over Grand Rapids Gold

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, beat the Grand Rapids Gold 95-93 Tuesday night in overtime. Windy City was led by guard Jalen Harris with 30 points on 11-for-17 shooting from the field. 

Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo finished with a double-double of 20 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Keifer Sykes chipped in 10 points off the bench. 

Sanogo and Harris each scored eight points in the opening quarter for Windy City, however, Grand Rapids took a three-point lead. The Bulls took a one-point lead heading into halftime after scoring 25 points in the second quarter. 

The Gold took a 68-64 lead after Denver Nuggets assignment forward Hunter Tyson scored 11 points in the third quarter. Harris forced overtime by hitting a three-pointer to tie the game at 88 with one second left. The Bulls reached the target score of seven points first after Harris hit back-to-back shots for Windy City. 

Grand Rapids was led by Tyson with 28 points on 11-for-22 shooting from the field. Denver Nuggets two-way forward Braxton Key finished with 22 points. 

With the win, Windy City improved to 12-15 in the regular season, Grand Rapids fell to 11-16. 

Next up, Windy City has a rematch with the Grand Rapids Gold on Thursday, March 14 at NOW Arena. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:00PM and will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
