Windy City Bulls Fall in Overtime to the Cleveland Charge

The Windy City Bulls, presented by BMO, the NBA G League affiliate of the Chicago Bulls, lost to the Cleveland Charge 103-98 Wednesday night. Windy City was led by guard Evan Gilyard with 21 points, five assists and five steals. 

Chicago Bulls two-way forward Adama Sanogo finished with a double-double of 20 points and 14 rebounds. Guard Jalen Harris chipped in 17 points, four rebounds and six assists. 

Cleveland jumped out to a 37-22 lead at the end of the first quarter after shooting 63.2 percent from the field. Windy City took over in the second quarter, erasing a 17-point deficit to tie the game at halftime. Gilyard led the Bulls with 16 points in the first half. 

The Bulls took a 10 point lead at the end of the third quarter after outscoring the Charge 21-11. Cleveland battled back in the fourth quarter to tie the game and force overtime. The Charge reached the target score of seven points first in overtime. 

Cleveland was led by Cleveland Cavaliers two-way forward Isaiah Mobley with 23 points, four rebounds and five assists. Forward Feron Hunt finished with 20 points and 12 rebounds.

With the loss, Windy City fell to 14-18 in the regular season, Cleveland improved to 14-18. 

Next up, Windy City returns home to take on the Wisconsin Herd on Friday, March 29. The game is slated to tip-off at 7:00PM and will be broadcasted on NBAGleague.com.
